A 36-foot trailer and truck filled with the latest Craftsman tools started its all-summer 5,305-mile trip across the U.S. on April 27. Along the way they plan to make more than 20 stops to help communities and individuals on the way as well as introduce the latest Craftsman tools to everyone interested.
The “Make a Difference” Tour was launched by The Craftsman brand, non-profit Rebuilding Together and Sears Heroes at Home. Together with Ty Pennington, national TV personality and well-known DIY expert they will be giving a hand to U.S. military veterans to help them with renovating their houses as well as help around communities where help is needed.

The Craftsman ‘Make a Difference’ Tour brings the desire of making to life, by mobilizing Craftsman Club members and local volunteers to make a difference in communities across the country, ” said Michael Castleman, president, Kenmore, Craftsman and DieHard and senior vice president, Sears Holdings.
The Tour will hopefully inspire people around the U.S. to help their communities by working with their hands. It’s a center part of Craftsman’s new “Made to Make” campaign that celebrates the maker in each of us.
